St Mary’s fields a competitive softball team composed of junior high students 5th through 8th grade. We are members of the Tazwood Conference and have had a co-op with Riverview Grade School for softball since the 2009-2010 school-year. We are governed by the IESA rules and regulations. (Illinois Elementary School Association) The St. Mary’s softball team was the State Champion in 1981 and 2007, State Runner-up in 2006, Third in State in 2005, and earned a berth in the Elite 8 in 2004!
