Today we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes!
On this day in 1858, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to St. Bernadette at the grotto in Lourdes, France—the first of 18 appearances that would transform a small French town into one of the world's most beloved pilgrimage sites.
Mary's message remains as powerful today as it was then: prayer, penance, and conversion of heart.
