Summer Reading Challenge
This summer, we invite all students and families to take part in our Catholic School Summer Reading Challenge! Reading is a wonderful way to continue learning, grow in imagination, and strengthen the gifts God has given us.
How the Challenge Works
• Read throughout the summer
• Keep track of the books with reading log provided (see attached log sheet or copies are available in the library)
• (optional) Set a personal reading goal and try to reach it before school begins again.
Fun Ideas for Summer Reading
• Read outside on a sunny day
• Visit your local library
• Read with a sibling, parent, or grandparent
• Try a new genre or series
Students who complete the Summer Reading Challenge and return their reading log at the start of the school year will receive special recognition!
As St. Jerome said, “When we pray, we speak to God; when we read, God speaks to us.”
We pray your summer is filled with faith, fun, family, and many great books! Happy Reading! 📖✨
